About The Role Location: Hastings Salary: £23,723 - £24,790 pro rata, (Actual Salary £17,713 - £18,510) Contract: Permanent Hours: 31.25 per week, Full-time, term time only Start date: 3rd February 2025 Closing date: 9am Friday 10th January 2025 Interviews: Wednesday 15th January 2025 however we will interview suitable candidates as they are identified We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Teaching Assistant on a permanent basis. This role will involve helping to implement work programmes for groups of children as well as assisting in the management/preparation of resources. The successful applicant will also provide cover for whole classes under a system of supervision for 30% of the employed time throughout the school year, daily lunchtime support and be an academic support for 4 afternoons a week. The successful candidate will: have experience of working with KS1 and KS2 aged children have good literacy and mathematical skills be hard working and adaptable to change ideally have some experience of supporting with children’s phonics and / or reading.
