An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a MOT Tester Technician to join a leading automotive service provider at their Henley-On-Thames site. This full-time, permanent role offers a competitive salary starting from £35,000 OTE, depending on experience. The working hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, with a half-day finish on Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work on all makes and models of vehicles.
* Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs.
* Handle brakes, tyres, and wheel alignment.
* Inspect vehicle components, including brakes, lights, steering, and exhaust systems.
* Conduct MOT tests on various types of vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
* Use hand tools and power tools effectively to perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
* Document test results accurately and provide feedback to vehicle owners.
* Stay updated on changes in MOT regulations and testing procedures.
* Maintain health and safety standards in line with company guidelines.
* Complete job cards, maintenance records, and paperwork to a high standard.
* Assist with regular stock checks as required.
What You'll Need:
* Experience within a fast-fit car centre or a recognised vehicle franchise dealership.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
* A valid MOT Tester licence is essential.
* Vehicle technician qualification and relevant experience.
* A full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
