The Role As the Plant Supply Chain Manager for the Cable & Components business, you will lead a team of over 25 professionals, including those in Production Control, Scheduling, Raw Material Management, Warehousing, and Despatch. You will be responsible for delivering major change and enhancement programs, including strategic planning for your business areas. Your key duties will include: Leading and managing the planning, raw material, goods inwards, and despatch teams in the production facilities. Ensuring health and safety standards are always maintained. Delivering exceptional levels of customer service to both internal and external customers. Leading, developing, and reviewing individual and team performances. Collaborating closely with the commercial and operations departments to prepare and translate commercial sales requirements into a strategic plan that delivers efficient and positive outcomes. Continuously seeking to improve departmental performance to support overall business performance. Defining and delivering budget and inventory targets. Becoming fully conversant with existing SAP & MES systems and serving as a point of leadership for any future developments. Maintaining and publishing KPIs. The Person As the Plant Supply Chain Manager, you will have experience in a similar role within a Manufacturing, Production, Engineering, or Operations environment, with strong exposure to Continuous Improvement or Change Management implementations. With a relevant qualification and strong commercial acumen, you will be a charismatic leader with excellent people, presentation, and business skills, confident in being judged on results. You will also have experience and knowledge in: Planning, SAP, MRP, MES, KINAXIS Maestro, and MS Office software. People, Team Management, and Leadership. Supply Chain and Logistics.
