We are looking for a Full time Internal Bookkeeper to help manage our financial transactions. The ideal candidate will be experienced with Xero accounting software and proficient in Excel.
### Key Responsibilities:
1. Record daily financial transactions
2. Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
3. Invoice customers via Xero and follow up on overdue accounts
4. Pay suppliers and manage overdue creditor records
5. Reconcile bank statements
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date files and records
7. Support the director with general administrative tasks and ad-hoc duties
8. Collaborate with the company accountant
### Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
2. Proficiency in Excel
3. Strong organizational skills
4. Ability to work independently and in a team
5. Level 2 & 3 AAT qualification
### Job Details:
1. Job Type: Full-time - Can be discussed and flexible working possible
2. Hours: 30-35 hours per week (TBD, flexible)
3. Pay: £26,641.00-£28,527.00 per year
