As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support the delivery of high standards of childcare and education in the setting and implement the daily routine.
They have a host of activities to get involved in, like cooking and nutrition, where the children start to learn how food is grown, picked, and put onto their plates. This helps spark an interest in what they are eating and builds practical skills for learning in many other areas like music, movement, and dance.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-quality care and education for the children in a safe and stimulating environment.
2. Support children's learning and development through fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
3. Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, ensuring effective communication.
4. Assist in creating a warm, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.
5. Take part in the planning and observation of children's progress, ensuring their individual needs are met.
6. Support with the day-to-day running of the room, ensuring that all health, safety, and hygiene standards are adhered to.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
2. Passion for working with young children, with a strong understanding of child development and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
3. Great communication skills to liaise with both parents and colleagues.
4. A team player who is enthusiastic, creative, and caring.
5. Ability to provide a nurturing environment where children feel safe, happy, and able to explore.
