Our Location Strategy - Leeds Growth Plans The Bank of England is increasing its presence across the UK to fully represent the people of the United Kingdom and as part of our continued strategy to reach out to wider pools of diverse talent nationwide. We have committed to having an office of at least 500 staff in Leeds by 2027. The Location Strategy Project team is leading the work to build this presence in Leeds. There are a number of strands to this significant multi-year project. The Project team's responsibilities include: Delivering an office of at least 500 people in Leeds by 2027 whilst also transforming the Bank's offices in London and reviewing our wider location footprint. Working collaboratively across the whole organisation to build our presence in Leeds, ensuring that business areas are supported in recruiting in Leeds and operating split-site teams. Working in partnership with our central People directorate to determine our people strategy over the coming years for working outside of London, and our longer-term strategy for the Leeds office. In collaboration with relevant teams across the Bank ensuring that the support, policies and offering in our Leeds office are consistent with that in London and contribute to the Bank's overall strategy and organisational priorities. Job description - Senior Policy & Project Analyst This is an exciting new opportunity to join the Location Strategy Project team as it builds our Leeds office at pace. This role will be critical in monitoring and ensuring progress towards our headcount targets in Leeds and that business areas are supported in growing their Leeds presence. Monitor and evaluate the success of our growth in Leeds, including through Key Performance Indicators for the project, communicating and presenting data and conclusions internally. Lead on the development and review of certain policies and strategies to support and enable our growth in Leeds. Alongside other team members, engage with other areas of the Bank, for example with Deputy Governorship COO areas and Executive Directors and the Project's SteerCo, helping to keep stakeholders updated on progress while ensuring they feel supported by the project. Ensure the project's communications and guidance to the wider Bank are clear and up to date, reflecting the latest progress, strategy and policies. Contribute to the development of a thriving culture in the Leeds office, including by supporting the development and implementation of people and workplace strategies, working with People Directorate and other members of the project team. Minimum (essential) criteria Strong stakeholder management skills - proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders to work effectively across different teams and identify connections and synergies in related work streams Analytical and problem solving skills, including an ability to draw conclusions from a wide range of information and data sources Excellent communication skills, including drafting and presenting for a wide range of audiences. Salary and Benefits Information Salary range: £44,080 - £49,590 We encourage flexible working, part time working and job share arrangements. Part time salary and benefits will be on a pro-rated basis as appropriate. In addition, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package as detailed below: Currently a non-contributory, career average pension giving you a guaranteed retirement benefit of 1/95th of your annual salary for every year worked. There is the option to increase your pension (to 1/50th) or decrease (to 1/120th) in exchange for salary through our flexible benefits programme each year.
