To champion Health, Safety and the Environment at the site and in partnership with Line Management implement a comprehensive / effective best in class, compliant Health and Safety Management system and EMS system to identify, address and manage risk and to reduce accidents and costs.
What you’ll need
* HSE Diploma
* NEBOSH Certificate or similar qualification.
* A minimum of 4 Years post qualification experience in a large scale manufacturing operation.
* Hands on experience in conducting audits, investigations & root cause analysis.
* Working knowledge of ISO 14001:2004.
* Understanding of environmental permitting regulations and permit management
* Excellent knowledge of NI, UK and EU Health and Safety legislation.
* Good leadership and influencing qualities
* An excellent communicator; able to liaise with varying stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external
* Strong analytical, organisation and planning skills with ability to prioritise effectively
* Able to work on initiative
* Ability to adopt a variety of approaches dependent upon situation and context.

* Able to operate outside core hours when required and travel to other sites on occasions.
