We are recruiting for a confident Management Accountant for an 8-month temporary role for a company based near Broxbourne.
You will have a strong numerical and administration skills with an advanced understanding of Excel and experienced in the use of either Exchequer/ QuickBooks/ Sage Intacct or similar .
This role is crucial to release the existing management accountant from day-to-day responsibilities while the business develop and implement a new ERP system.
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm.
Hybrid working with 2 days at home and 3 in the office.
Pay: £18.50 - £20 per hour – this includes holiday pay
Key Responsibilities:
1. Posting of sterling and foreign currency receipts
2. Preparation and posting of payments
3. Comprehensive supplier and customer reconciliations including currency and consolidated currency
4. Quarterly VAT and Intrastat reporting
5. Assistance with balance sheet reconciliations
6. Supporting administration of expenses management platform (Navan)
7. Other ad hoc requirements
What we are looking for:
8. 3 years’+ experience in a similar role
9. Part-qualified - ACCA or CIMA
10. Proficient in Exchequer or similar accounting systems (QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite)
11. Must have excellent Excel skills, minimum intermediate but advanced preferred
12. Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint
13. High accuracy and attention to detail
14. Somebody with an analytical mindset, strong organisational, verbal and written communication skills
15. Flexible approach
16. Proactive with the ability to work using own initiative
17. Able to work in a team
