About the Role
The Cancer Imaging Laboratory in the Centre for Cancer Biomarkers and Biotherapeutics at Barts Cancer Institute seeks to recruit an experienced radiochemist PDRA to carry out research in the field of radionuclide imaging and therapy of paediatric cancer. This role also covers radiopharmaceutical development work required to support a key industrial partner as well as academic group members and collaborators.
About You
Applicants must have a PhD in radiochemistry or radiopharmaceutical science, covering a wide variety of radionuclides, particularly radiometals for imaging and therapy. You will be ready to develop your career, applying your radiochemistry knowledge to the challenge of developing radiolabeling strategies for a constantly changing range of precursors and targeting vectors in an industrial context. You will maintain and develop your laboratory practical skills and your research in preclinical radiation science.

The post is based at the Charterhouse Square Campus in London. It's a full-time appointment, fixed term for 2 years, with an expected start date of March 2025. The starting salary will be Grade 5, in the range £43,305 - £50,685 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
