Job Summary: As an NQP at MET Medical, you will take on a leadership role in our team, providing critical care and ensuring the highest standards of patient treatment and safety. In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will play a vital role in mentoring and guiding our Emergency Care Assistants (ECAs) and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to elevate their skills and uphold the MET Medical commitment to excellence. We are a small to medium-sized Ambulance Service run by healthcare professionals. We provide 999 services to East of England Ambulance Service. We also have the opportunity for bank staff and overtime in other areas of our business such as repatriation and events. We are a growing organisation and as such there are opportunities to develop beyond the scope of a Paramedic. Overall Job Purpose: To respond using emergency driving skills and manage emergency calls/incidents as allocated including emergencies, urgent calls, inter-hospital transfers and other allocated operational details commensurate with their role and responsibilities. At all times, provide specialist, clinical, social and holistic care to patients in a pre-hospital environment. Handling and administering, non-prescription, prescription and controlled drugs Provide patient assessment and treatment in line with the scope of practice and within MET Medical guidelines. To ensure that patient confidentiality is maintained at all times and that personal / clinical information is only disclosed in accordance with MET Medical policy, procedure and protocol and in accordance with Caldicott regulations, whilst ensuring that all appropriate information is recorded in a timely and efficient manner.
