Practice Manager - Private Healthcare Clinic We are looking for an Practice Manager to take the lead in managing a brand-new private healthcare clinic in Belfast. This role is key to ensuring the smooth running of the clinic, supporting both patients and staff while maintaining high standards of service and efficiency. The Role As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinic's daily operations, managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and maintaining excellent patient care. You will also play a vital role in business development, helping to shape the clinic's services and ensure its success. Key Responsibilities Practice Operations: Oversee the day-to-day running of the clinic, ensuring a professional, efficient, and welcoming environment for both patients and staff. Technology & Systems: Lead the implementation of healthcare software and ensure the clinic stays up to date with relevant technology. People Management: Recruit, train, and manage staff, ensuring a supportive and well-organised team. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all policies and procedures meet health and safety regulations (RQAI), carrying out risk assessments as needed. Patient Experience: Act as the first point of contact for patient feedback and complaints, ensuring concerns are handled professionally and in line with clinic policy. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the clinic operates in line with all legal and industry requirements (RQAI), keeping up to date with regulatory changes. Facilities & IT Management: Oversee building maintenance, cleanliness, and IT systems, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Quality & Performance: Monitor key performance indicators, prepare reports, and ensure the clinic is always inspection-ready. What We're Looking For Previous experience as a Practice Manager within a healthcare setting. A strong understanding of healthcare administration, compliance, and team management. Experience handling regulatory inspections and quality assurance processes. Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask effectively. Proficiency in healthcare software and IT systems. At least five years of supervisory experience in a healthcare or clinical setting. Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and HR policies.
