Marshfields School is a 191-place special provision for students aged 7 – 19 with Learning Difficulties.
We had our most recent Ofsted inspection in September 2023 and we are extremely pleased that the overall effectiveness of the school has been graded as Good and the school has been recognised for all the hard work that goes on every day here.
Every student at the school has an Education, Healthcare Plan (EHCP). Typical levels of triangulated functioning:
· A cognitive profile at or below 2nd percentile
· Attainment in the core subjects will be significantly below chronological age expectations (at least four years behind, but no more than 6 years below their peers)

Experience of teaching, preferably with students with special educational needs
A good understanding of the principles and practices of SEND education, or a willingness to learn and develop your skills in this area.
A creative and flexible approach to teaching and learning, with the ability to adapt to different learning styles and abilities.
A positive and enthusiastic attitude, motivated to inspire your students.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
