We are dedicated to supporting the NHS in overcoming the challenges they face in the provision of women’s health care and improving patient/health economic outcomes We are looking for an experienced Medical Sales Representative to build win-win partnerships with NHS across the fields of women’s health and maternity. You will cover secondary care hospitals and tertiary care in your territory. Key customers will include Obstetric and gynaecology consultants, midwives, theatre managers, surgeons, theatre nurses and procurement managers. To be considered for this exciting role you will ideally meet the following criteria: A track record of success in Medical Sales Devices Previous experience within women’s health or theatre sales is an advantage Strong relationships in secondary care and with Consultants and Procurement Managers A driven and determined approach Full UK Driving Licence Lives on patch Ideal Characteristics Include: Motivated, ambitious, and positive. The Role: The role involves the management of hospitals in the respective territory, with a focus on lead and revenue generation with customer management. Below is an example of a hospital and office day. Field Day: Travel to all relevant hospitals (sometimes multiple per day) Present to doctors, midwives, nurses and/or finance/procurement in the form of a sales presentation or small group meetings (multiple meetings per day) Undertake training sessions or planned demonstrations as part of product implementation or ahead of trials Meet with clinical and procurement decision makers to implement products. Collaborate to write draft business plans and advise on clinical guidelines (product specific advice) Plan and prospect all relevant wards while on site Office/Home Day: Strategic planning of field-based visits and customer calls Lead generation and follow up- calling and emailing existing and potential customers Virtually present to clinicians and procurement teams on MST Virtually train clinicians on relevant products on MST Analyse audit data and discuss findings with clinical teams Support customers with ongoing product trials Meet with management team to discuss targets, long term plans and ad hoc topics Draft business plans to support product implementation Take inbound calls from customers Outbound calls inline with weekly KPIs Although the above outlines what a typical day may involve, the nature of the business, its size and speed of growth means that there’ll be substantial variety in the role and an expectation to ‘muck in’ and support colleagues across departments when required.
