COME AND JOIN US. .. We are currently seeking a conscientious and diligent Public Area Assistant to join our Accommodation Services team, looking after our public areas. The shift patterns for this role are 8am to 4.30pm and 2.30pm to 11pm, working 5 days from 7. The on target earning potential for this role is £30,105 / per annum based on a 40 hour contract - comprising a base salary of £25,605 plus a qualified estimate of £4,500 in gratuities and service charge. Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role: Consistently delivering and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, room preparation and presentation throughout the estate, including deep cleaning exercises Taking huge pride in ensuring the cleanliness, presentation and hygiene of all the public areas, reception and service areas are always achieved Restocking and replacing items in public areas and bathrooms, making sure our guests have everything they need when visiting or in advance of their stay Servicing bathrooms by washing and emptying bins; cleaning all surfaces and floors; showers, baths, basins, bidets, and toilets to the highest standard Vacuuming bathrooms, bedroom floors, corridors, stairs, and lifts to remove all debris; checking the vacuum cleaner each week; using the correct cleaning materials for each particular task Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way The kind of person we're looking for : Ideally, you'll have previous experience within a similar role though full training is offered; you'll also be available to work a flexible schedule You'll be required to complete standard forms to record events on a regular basis and interact with our guests so a strong grasp of English language, both written and spoken, are essential; additional languages would also be beneficial Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner A strong team player with great communication skills and an enthusiastic approach; you're well organised and punctual You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and above all has fun along the way What’s in it for you: Time to let your hair down 30 days holiday (including bank holidays) that increases with service Seasonal parties and local social events 50% discount on Food & Beverage, Country Pursuits, Spa and Hair Salon (Mon-Thurs) and the Golf Driving Range Golf Membership (with access to all 3 championship courses) for £50.00 per annum Treats in your pocket Flexi points into yourPerkbox wallet to spend as you choose.
