Working within the Estates and Facilities Directorate, the Security and Risk Manager will be responsible for overseeing the University’s security and guarding services, ensuring the safety and security of all students, staff, and visitors.
The role will involve managing security staff, developing and implementing security policies, and coordinating emergency response and resilience planning across the University campuses and residences.
Key tasks will include annual planning, budgets, training, developing and overseeing security strategy, policies, procedures, and site assignment instructions to ensure a safe campus environment.
They will collaborate with other departments, local law enforcement, and emergency services to ensure a safe campus environment.
