Job Duties:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons to nursery-aged children
Implement behaviour management strategies to create a positive learning environment
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed
Collaborate with other nursery staff to create a cohesive educational experience
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Proven experience working with nursery-aged children
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of early childhood development principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively manage classroom behaviour
Proactive approach to teaching and learning
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications in Early Childhood Education
Experience in working with diverse student populations
Working Conditions:
Full-time position with regular working hours
Work primarily in a nursery school environment
Potential for occasional evening or weekend events
