FJA are recruiting on behalf of UK-based company specialising in infrastructure and maintenance for water and wastewater systems for an experienced Project Manager in Swansea (flexible working options). This is a 12-month contract-based role. Benefits Competitive salary Supportive company culture Professional Development Project Manager role: The role involves leading multiple projects, managing team development, and ensuring performance against the current programme while transitioning into the AMP 8 investment period. The Project Manager will play a key role in the business, providing leadership, direction, and foresight to ensure the safe and profitable delivery of schemes. The role also focuses on achieving high customer satisfaction and supporting the team in successfully delivering the projects. Project Manager responsibilities: Managing civil and utilities projects from pre-construction through to commissioning. Lead multi-contractor and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve shared objectives. Planning, liaison with 3rd parties and pre-construction permits. Review emerging work and contribute to program discussions and enhancements. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and deliver margin improvements through resource and procurement efficiencies where possible. Compile and update reports, ensuring timely distribution. Maintain internal systems, ensuring data accuracy. Possess a thorough understanding of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts. Support the Project Managers in their responsibilities. Manage project documentation and ensure the production of audit-compliant records. Project Manager requirements: Strong knowledge of statutory regulations related to CDM. Strong leadership skills. Proficiency in P6, AutoCAD, and CEMAR. Full driving license. Strong understanding of Project Management methodologies. Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Background in construction.
