Aged Care & Disability Support Workers East Coast Tasmania - Remote
We are searching for all fabulous aged and disability support workers in the east coast region. We need support workers in St Helens, St Marys and the Fingal Valley areas who are qualified with a cert 3 in Aged Care/Disability or equivalent.

Community Care Tasmania is a not for profit focusing on provided compassionate care and support, enabling our clients to thrive at home with dignity. We are seeking dedicated and qualified support workers in all areas across Tasmania to provide one-on-one home care support to clients accessing Aged Care or NDIS services.
In this role, you will work closely with clients to assist them to continue to live in their own home. You will be part of a growing and exciting team and supported with enthusiastic training and administrative support. You will be part of a team that cares and puts its clients first. The dynamic nature of our services, coupled with the chance to work with multiple clients, guarantees regular opportunities for you to contribute significantly.
Duties
1. Daily living tasks such as light domestic duties
2. Support mobility and transfers
3. Facilitate community outings
4. Promote and encourage independence
5. Support and manage challenging behaviours
6. Maintain accurate documentation and monitor client behaviour
7. Engage in ongoing training essential to the role.
About you
We are looking for caring individuals with attributes such as compassion, empathy, adaptability, excellent communication, and attention to detail. Our staff are understanding and patient toward the needs of others and want to make a difference in people’s lives.
The successful applicant will be required to work a variety of shifts ranging from 6.30am - 8pm, 7 days a week, subject to availability and be prepared to travel within the East Coast region (paid travel).
You will have:
1. National Police Clearance check less than 3 months old or willing to obtain one
2. WWVP including NDIS worker check or willing to obtain
3. Current certification in First Aid, CPR and manual handling
4. Driver's license and access to own vehicle
