Our client, an established multi-disciplinary consultancy expanding in the Yorkshire region, requires a Senior Structural Engineer or Principal Structural Engineer looking for their next career move at Associate level now or in the near future. Associate level Structural Engineers will also be considered for an Associate Director role.

Job Description
Ideally, applicants will have 5+ years of industry experience and be Chartered.
The candidate should be able to:
1. Provide technical support at a high level to the structures team and company clients, being a problem solver and trusted advisor.
2. Plan and manage projects effectively and efficiently, including development of project concepts, inputs, outputs, implementation activities, verifications, and technical review.
3. Undertake investigations and inspections and develop solutions to clients' problems by applying appropriate analysis techniques.
4. Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in working with concrete, steel, timber, and masonry.
5. Provide technical reviews and oversight to the Structures discipline.
6. Prepare designs, technical reports, presentations, specifications, and contract documentation.
7. Knowledge of BIM, Autodesk Revit, and CAD is an advantage.
8. Be conversant in 3D and finite element analysis/modeling.
9. Have an appreciation of civils and drainage.
10. Be proficient in the design of all structural materials and possess a sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety, and legal regulations.
11. Liaise with the Directors to plan workload and resources as required.
12. Ensure projects are completed to agreed budgets and timescales.
13. Mentor more junior engineers.
