We're looking for a Finance Project Manager to join our Regional Construction team.

Contract: Full Time, Permanent
What will you be responsible for?
As the Finance Project Manager, you will take responsibility as the head of our shared services will ensure that payments to supply chain and staff are processed in a timely manner, in line with the business working capital policy; and seek out ways to reduce inefficiency by expanding the service centres touch points with the regions and taking more back-office process into a single service centre. Within the role you will encourage the use of the service centre by demonstrating the benefits and continually improve and train the service centre team to be ‘intelligent' about processing from a business perspective.
Duties and responsibilities within the role will include but not be limited to:
* Grow the service offering by identifying other key transactional process and by building strong relationships with key stakeholders, to facilitate acceptance of a centralised approach.
* Train/upskill the team to enable them to be more involved in the start and finish of transactions such that they feel part of the regional delivery.
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement – identifying and implementing process improvements that will deliver efficiencies, strengthen internal controls and improve payments for prompt payment reporting,
* Devise and control the reporting and measurement of the shared services team delivery, including development of specific Service Level Agreements.
What are we looking for?
We're looking for applicants with the following skills and attributes:
* Experience in Purchasing/ Accounts Payable/Subcontractor/ site admin function
* Experience in driving operational change through an organisation with multiple sites, ideally with knowledge of Oracle or similar ERP system
* Experience supervising medium teams, ideally within Purchasing/ Accounts Payable/Subcontractor/ site admin or other core transactional / financial processes in a complex business environment
* Good knowledge of principles, practices, regulations and procedures relating to Construction Purchasing/ Accounts Payable/ Subcontractor / site administration will be an advantage
