Compliance Officer (Malpractice/Appeals)
Salary: £25,200 - £31,800
Location: Cambridge or Coventry, Hybrid (minimum of 2 days a week in the office)
Contract: Fixed Term/Secondment (6 months), Full time (35 hours per week)

We are looking for a Compliance Officer to join us on a six-month fixed term or secondment contract in the Malpractice/Appeals Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive and motivated team.
About the role
As a Compliance Officer, you will support the compliance managers to maintain and build public, customer and regulatory confidence in OCR's assessments and processes by:
* Processing, investigating, and recommending decisions on malpractice, appeals and other compliance cases, to ensure OCR maintains the integrity of its qualifications and remains compliant with statutory and regulatory requirements
* Providing advice and guidance to customers and internally on malpractice, appeals and other compliance cases.
This is a varied role that offers an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge and understanding of all areas of malpractice investigation. You will be an essential part of the Compliance team as you develop new skills that enable you to support the team to ensure the smooth running of the malpractice process.
About you
You will be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with exceptional organisation skills. You will have proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Ideally, you will have experience of working in a regulated environment, with proven ability to prioritise tasks appropriately and experience of using your own judgement to make decisions.
This is a demanding role that requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. You will have significant experience in supporting the administrative needs of a large organisation with complex processes.
