The post holder will take a lead in the physiotherapy assessment and diagnosis of patients including those with a highly complex presentation, using investigative and analytical skills. The Physiotherapist will develop individualised management and treatment plans using clinical reasoning and utilising a wide range of treatment skills and options to deliver specialised programmes of care. There would be an emphasis on undertaking ongoing evaluation of Physiotherapy intervention, a commitment to CPD and peer supervision and an expectation to support Physiotherapy students in their learning and development. Clinical supervision will be provided via a peer support framework. There is an expectation for the post holder to undertake Manual Handling Assessor training, to support the delivery of mandatory training for clinical staff and to provide support to carers.
