We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join our Infrastructure team in Watford.
What you'll do:
1. Lead the highways and infrastructure (drainage) teams, providing leadership and a forward-facing interface between the team and clients.
2. Mentor team members, supporting the development of technical and broader skills to support succession planning and business continuity.
3. Monitor and manage the commercial performance of projects ensuring delivery of a quality service on time and to budget.
4. Co-ordinate the activities of the team to maximise utilisation and progress engineering designs and project deliverables.
5. Lead by example to promote the right behaviours.
What you'll bring to the role:
1. Professionally qualified Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE or MCIHT) or an ability to demonstrate that you are actively working towards gaining CEng.
2. Previous experience leading and managing team members or a highways and/or infrastructure design group.
3. Previous experience of commercial management of projects.
