An opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Charge Nurse to join our team, supporting the Senior Charge Nurse with clinical leadership, coordination, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care within Acorn House (Short Break Respite Services for Children and young people with complex needs, profound health needs, behavioural and physical disabilities).
Responsibilities and Requirements
1. The post holder will possess a recognised paediatric nursing qualification and participate in further education and training for personal and professional development.
2. Take charge of the unit regularly and deputise in the absence of the Senior Charge Nurse.
3. Participate in ongoing development within the unit.
4. Demonstrate leadership qualities and skills, with extensive knowledge of multi-agency working and child protection policies.
