We’re looking for a Sr. Manager, EMEA Security Operations to join our Global Security Team!
What you’ll do:
1. Ensure the protection and support of our team members and assets through close coordination with Global Security team members, EMEA business leaders, and other business process service providers.
2. Develop and implement procedures related to best practices, directives, and standard operating procedures.
3. Manage the security technology program, including cameras, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
4. Lead all aspects of security vendors, including onsite guarding services, technology and systems support, and special event security.
5. Collaborate with partners on the physical security and technology design of new office spaces.
6. Manage annual operating budget and execute mission within budget.
7. Prepare and conduct security and safety awareness training.
8. Conduct threat analysis and security risk assessments for Snap operations.
9. Support the development and maintenance of business resiliency, emergency response plans, communications, and crisis management plans.
10. Support Snap’s environmental health and safety program with audits and site assessments, as well as the risk program to proactively identify risks and mitigations that could adversely impact Snap.
11. Responsible for quality control of all products and reports, and reporting out of quarterly program metrics.
12. Build strategic partnerships with local law enforcement, as well as interagency security leaders. Plan and implement security incident exercises.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
1. Leadership skills, with an emphasis on customer service, teamwork, and a self-starter demeanor.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with all levels of the organization.
3. Experience in security, medical, emergency services, law enforcement, military, or customer service industries is helpful, including an understanding of the regional political and security landscape.
4. Flexibility to work non-traditional schedules, including holidays, nights, and weekends, to adapt to our 24/7 operation, and travel up to 50%.
5. Demonstrated ability using security technology and computer systems (Google Suite, Lenel access control systems, Incident Management Systems (Everbridge/VCC), CCTV platforms).
6. Sophisticated understanding in incident response, Crisis Management, Incident Management, and Emergency Response.
7. Knowledge and/or direct experience creating security intelligence-based products.
8. Professional, eloquent, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion.
9. Superb ability to maintain correspondence, discussions, and materials with the strictest confidence.
10. Ability to seek problems strategically and creatively, with the desire to create and build new processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience.
2. Experience leading and scaling security operations programs.
3. Proven experience in security, risk management, or law enforcement & military with physical security plus people and vendor management responsibilities, ideally in a corporate setting in the EMEA region.
4. Consistent track record to lead and empower people, including remote employees.
5. Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to respond quickly to security, safety, and sensitive situations.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. ASIS CPP and/or an internationally recognized Security Management certification.
2. Bilingual to support EMEA regional operations, specifically proficient in French.
