Job Description: We ’re currently looking for a Process Scientist 2 within our Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) team to join on a 12-month fixed term contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development. As the successful candidate, you will play a crucial role in supporting Drug Product process optimization and continuous improvement projects across key strategic areas. This position involves contributing to technology transfer and new product introduction from development into commercial manufacturing facilities. You will have the chance to utilize your scientific principles, process, and product knowledge to execute optimization projects aimed at improving manufacturing process performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing, writing, and executing protocols to generate data supporting site projects, performing technical reviews of data, and preparing accurate technical reports. Role Responsibilities: Utilise scientific principles, process, and product knowledge to execute process optimisation projects to improve manufacturing process performance. Design, write and execute protocols to generate data to support the site projects. P erform technical review of data and prepare accurate and precise technical reports. Work under general supervision to meet project goals. Work with other site functions to deliver MS&T objectives. Ensure experimental work is recorded appropriately in controlled laboratory notebooks or protocols in accordance with the requirements of GxP (Data integrity principles (ALCOA)). Contribute to the Technology transfer and new product introduction from Development into commercial manufacturing facilities. Support process monitoring and data gathering. Proactively and reactively look for areas of improvement. Work with other departments to prepare, review and edit relevant documentation – SOPs, Training Packages, Protocols, Reports ect. Actively assess emerging techniques in the field of formulation either internally or via external collaboration Knowledge & Experience : Degree level qualified in Scientific, Pharmaceutical or Engineering discipline. Proven industry experience is preferred but not essential. Good understanding of laboratory practices and practical execution of laboratory studies Knowledge of Data analysis, Data visualisation, utilisation of statistical tools such as JMP, Minitab etc. Good communicator. Knowledge of Sterile Manufacturing of medicinal Drug Products Awareness of Technology transfer and New Product Introduction.
