Within this highly rewarding Science Technician opportunity you will find yourself preparing equipment and teaching areas for practical classes, maintaining equipment and teaching areas whilst supporting teachers in practical classes.
As a Science Technician you will also be helping students to obtain the most out of their learning experiences, carrying out administrative tasks which will positively impact the smooth running of the science department.

Science Technician – The role:
* Support science lessons
* Work with students across KS3 & KS4 lessons
* Ensure students are in a safe learning environment
* Maintain equipment and teaching areas
* Health and safety compliance
* Responsible for stock management & online ordering
* Contribute to the science department
Science Technician – Qualifications / experience required:
* Knowledge of science and the ability to communicate and demonstrate this knowledge effectively to staff and children.
* Degree level of education or Level 3 certificates
* Strong communication skills – written and verbal
* Can work individually and as part of a team
* Level of IT competency
* Up to date DBS check
