Role Summary:
Tritech Group are manufacturing experts and suppliers of precision products to global Aerospace & Defence industry giants and to support our rapid growth we are recruiting for a range of positions across our UK facilities.
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead SAP Consultant to oversee the development, implementation, and optimisation of SAP modules across the organisation. This role involves leading end-to-end SAP solutions, managing cross-functional teams, and aligning technology with business goals.
The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of SAP modules (such as S/4HANA, FICO, MM, SD, PP, or HCM), expertise in system integration, and project management abilities to ensure the successful execution of business processes within the SAP environment.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP Implementation and Support
* Lead end-to-end SAP project implementation, migration, and upgrades (e.g., S/4HANA transformation)
* Ensure seamless integration of SAP modules (FICO, MM, SD, PP, HR, etc.) with existing IT systems.
* Oversee the deployment and testing of SAP solutions to meet organizational needs.
Project Management
* Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with business requirements.
* Manage SAP project lifecycle, including budget control, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
* Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and external consultants to ensure timely delivery.
Solution Design and Optimization
* Identify opportunities to streamline and automate processes using SAP functionalities.
* Provide leadership in developing SAP best practices and process improvements for finance, supply chain, and manufacturing workflows.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to design and configure SAP modules to optimize business operations.
Team Leadership and Collaboration
* Lead cross-functional teams, including functional and technical consultants, developers, and business analysts.
* Act as a mentor to SAP consultants, providing technical guidance and career development support.
* Foster strong relationships with internal departments and external vendors.
Change Management & Training
* Develop and implement change management strategies to support SAP rollouts and upgrades
* Design and deliver training programs for end-users to maximize adoption and utilization
* Act as the primary point of contact for SAP-related issues and troubleshooting.
Governance, Compliance, and Documentation
* Ensure SAP processes comply with internal policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
* Maintain proper documentation for SAP configurations, processes, and change logs.
* Conduct audits and manage access controls to ensure data security and system integrity.
Travel & Mobility: The position is based in Wrexham and may be required to travel to global headquarters (India) from time to time.
Person Specification:
The ideal candidate is a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field with 8+ years of experience in SAP implementation and consulting (with at least 3 years in a leadership role).
The candidate should have experience in SAP S/4HANA, FICO, MM, SD, PP, or other relevant SAP modules. The candidate should be from engineering or manufacturing industries, or steel plant having managed procurement of scrap and alloys.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a relatable field – IT, Computer Science etc
* Experienced in SAP S/4HANA, FICO, MM, SD, PP, or other relevant SAP modules
* Engineering or manufacturing background
