We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Fire Stopper to join our client’s team in Norfolk on a temporary-to-permanent basis. Key Responsibilities:
* Installation of fire-stopping materials, including fire batts, fire mastic, collars, wraps, and cavity barriers, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations.
* Conduct fire-stopping surveys to identify and address potential risks in walls, floors, and penetrations.
* Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and fire strategies to deliver high-quality work.
* Ensure all works meet BM Trada or equivalent third-party certification standards.
* Maintain accurate records of completed works, including photographs and reports for audits.
* Adhere to strict health and safety protocols on-site.
* Collaborate with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades to ensure seamless project delivery.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in fire stopping or passive fire protection.
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Passive Fire Protection or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
* Valid CSCS card (blue card preferred).
* Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and compliance requirements.
* IPAF certification is advantageous.
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to high standards.
* Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
* Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to various sites within Norfolk.
