The Role

At Co-op Academy Swinton, we are looking for someone with a passion for teaching, combined with a flair for all things numerical, who could inspire our students and help them achieve the best possible outcome.

We are looking to appoint a Mathematics teacher who shares our vision for a learning environment and curriculum that is ambitious, supportive, and nurturing. As well as academic success, we focus on and take great pride in our students' behaviour. We aim for high achievement in an environment based on rewards, not sanctions.
Successful candidates will be proactive, well-organised, and passionate about creating the best possible environment for our staff and students. Experience of teaching across the secondary age and ability using a variety of teaching and learning styles, as well as successfully teaching Mathematics in one or more UK state secondary schools at both Key Stages 3 and 4 as a qualified teacher, is essential. You should be confident in understanding the development of KS3 resources and work with the Head of Mathematics to secure curriculum progress.
