Description
We have a great opportunity to join Torbay Councils Facilities Management Team. We are looking for a part-time caretaker to be based at Medical Tuition Services located within the grounds of Parkfield Paignton.
Working hours are 07:00 - 11:00am on a 12-month fixed term contract which will be reviewed each year. Candidates may be asked to cover events within the allocated building.
We are looking for a proactive candidate who has previous caretaking experience preferably. Must have a good understanding of working in an environment with vulnerable children. A DBS will be needed before starting the role.
This position is for a fixed term of 12 months from the start date.
This post meets the requirements for an Enhanced Criminal Record Check. This will show spent and unspent convictions and adult cautions which have not been filtered in line with legislation, plus any information held by local Police that is considered relevant to the role.

This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.

* An understanding of Manual Handling.
* A good understanding of the use of power tools.
Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
* Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent relevant experience.
