The Role Opportunity The Head of Workforce Diagnostics leads a team of psyshometricians and Industrial Organisational Business Psychologists who leverage cutting-edge psychometric and organisational science expertise to predict the behaviours that foster applied learning and career success. This position involves overseeing the development, administration, and analysis of diagnostic assessments that personalise learning and support mechanisms based on individuals needs. The Head of Workforce Diagnostics utilises their extensive domain knowledge to champion development and career growth of individuals within specialist disciplines. They collaborate with stakeholders, both internal and external, to understand their needs and provide expert consultation on diagnostic strategies. The role also involves strategic planning, resource allocation, and decision-making to effectively manage the workforce diagnostic function and align it with broader organisational objectives. Ethical practices, continuous improvement, and staying abreast of advancements in the fields of psychometrics and organisational psychology are essential components of the role. Specifically you will Build cross functional relationships Lead cross-functional relationships with leaders in Learning, GTM, Delivery, D&I and Product teams to strategically plan team deliverables to align to broader organisational objectives. Guide team members to prioritise the most impactful problems to solve based on business value cases and balancing the needs of clients, managers, coaches and apprentices. Championing new ideas with leadership teams to gain buy-in for how to productise new diagnostic features and AI-powered enablement tools to unblock team efforts to turn theory into practice. Develop strong cross functional communication and hypercare plans for pilots and research activities to balance risk and innovation. Deliver thought leadership Continously horizon scanning the fields of psychometrics and organisational science to share new developments and spark new ideas in the team. Educate both internally to the business and externally with clients on the role of Workforce Diagnostics and the value it delivers to Multiverse. Set the standard for diagnostic assessment research and quality monitoring processes to ensure valid and reliable assessments that are client defensible where required. Publish research on interventions to increase brand awareness on our cutting-edge approach to workforce diagnostic assessments. Being the expert voice in sales conversations on how diagnostic assessments work, partnering with CSM and PMM leadership on how to position proof points of assessment features. Team Development Sets a high benchmark for excellence, provides direct feedback and holds people to account to meet expected standards. Monitors development trends across the team, creating training on skill gaps and identifying issues across people, processes and technology. Consistently and effectively using recognition to motivate, improve team engagement and help others see the value of their work and pinpoint areas to improve. Ability to identify and adopt different coaching and management techniques to suit the needs of direct reports. About you MSc or PhD in Occupational Psychology Our leaders come from a variety of backgrounds, so you might be a research-centric psychometrics leader at an educational or workforce technology company or a consultant with experience in management and Industrial Organisational Business Psychology. You have experience working on emerging technologies within the field of diagnostic assessments and are passionate about using academic research to design novel assessment interventions. You have led teams through assessment design processes and are an expert in conducting data-driven approaches to validity and reliability testing.
