About the Role
* Up to £70,000 DOE
* Includes rent-free modern accommodation away from our main surgery if required.
* RCVS, VDS and BSAVA membership paid for.
* £2,000 per annum initial CPD allowance.
* Certificate studies are strongly encouraged and fully funded, with course attendance in paid time (no need to use your holidays) once the probationary period has expired.
* Four days working week with 35 days annual holiday.
* 1:13 (often peaceful!) out of hours and weekend rota, with on-site support from one of our senior veterinary surgeons during the first 6 months, or longer if needed.

About Us
Our team consists of 13 vets, 21 Registered Veterinary Nurses and 9 Student Veterinary Nurses. We have Advanced Practitioners in Diagnostic Imaging and Surgery, and Certificate holders in Internal Medicine, Computed Tomography, Neurology and Ophthalmology. For those who need to complete Vet GDP, we have an experienced Vet GDP advisor to provide great ‘get you started’ support.
The practice is excellently equipped with (diagnostic and surgical) endoscopy, advanced diagnostic imaging (DR, Ultrasound, CT and MRI suites) and several dedicated soft tissue, ophthalmic and orthopaedic theatres, complemented by 24-hour in-patient care in our medical (separate dog, cat and exotics), surgical and isolation wards. Our on-site rehabilitation centre run by our dedicated hydrotherapy and physiotherapy team optimises patient recovery, allowing us to provide the most comprehensive veterinary care in the region.
