Benugo has reviewed its leadership team structure to ensure it has the right roles and people in place to continue to grow the business and deliver its ambitious plans.
As part of this we have identified the need for a new role of Commercial Director. Reporting to both the Executive Director and the Founder, this role will be key in the Leadership Team. The jobholder will be directly responsible for Operations, Finance and IT.
Although a highly commercial role, it will also require a good understanding of how to harness the culture of an organisation. We need to grow and retain what is special about us.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in hospitality in leadership roles. They must have held senior Finance roles and, would ideally, also have experience in Operations. They will understand how to work successfully in an entrepreneurial organisation. Of equal importance is the ability to build and lead teams to perform to their best.
We believe this role has the potential to grow and take on responsibility for more areas of the business (e.g. Supply Chain, Sales, Property) in the future.
Key Responsibilities will include:
* Enhance total revenue performance through strong alignment of operations with financial goals.
* Drive efficiencies and ensure good processes that enhance the operation and customer experiences.
* Set and monitor budgets, advising on risks and opportunities.
* Drive the review process to involve key stakeholders and help them to understand fully, their contribution.
* Ensure a high standard of finance practices and ensure the business is both compliant and commercial.
* Bring commercial and general business acumen on all business activities.
* Develop scalable processes and systems to support expansion.
* Lead initiatives to streamline workflows and implement best practise across all areas of activity.
* Work with supply chain to achieve optimum performance.
* Manage extensive capex budgets ensuring spend is managed and the relevant business plan is adhered to.
