CFO Custody Support Worker - HMP Downview

We will be delivering the HMPPS Creating Future Opportunities (CFO) programme in London.
We are recruiting for people to join our teams in the role of CFO Custody Support Worker. In this role, you will provide high-quality support and guidance to participants, to help break down barriers to successful resettlement. You will help enhance participants' skill sets, helping them to find and secure sustainable employment opportunities.
You will undergo enhanced vetting checks for this role.
In this role, you will work in custody at HMP Downview.
We are looking for people who have:
1. An understanding of the barriers faced by prisoners or prison leavers to reintegrate back into society.
2. Strong interpersonal communication skills, including active listening and motivational skills.
3. A proactive and solution-focused approach.
4. An awareness, understanding, and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults.
5. The ability to pass a Disclosure and Barring Service Check at an enhanced level and successfully pass prison vetting.
