This is a unique platform and is perfect for anyone with projects experience within grid, connections, energy or renewables. The salary for this is expected to be c.£50-60k but there may be a degree of wiggle room on this for the right candidate.
Main Responsibilities
* Support in initial engagement with a generator and support the application process to connect to network
* Support ongoing engagement with the generation customers and updated internal records where appropriate, as well as co-ordinating internal resources through engagement with other disciplines for meeting support
* Produce initial draft of connection contract and assist through review and approval process to final position and then issue to the generator within an agreed timescale
* Maintain relevant governance for communications with relevant stakeholders.
* Support the Connections Manager to drive improvement, support reporting and promote the business objectives to the wider team
* Support the review of generator Gate 2 evidence submission and reporting to NESO.
* Accurately report progress each month for all customer connections, including key activities linked to applications and contracts.
* Take a positive involvement in developing relationships with other DNOs, TOs, NESO and Ofgem regarding customer connections
* Forge a positive working relationship with internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration across disciplines

Knowledge & Skills
* An understanding of the generator connections process in the UK
* Excellent communication and engagement skills when reporting or dealing individually with stakeholders.
* A high standard of written and oral English
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
* Organised individual who can multi-task and manage multiple customers in any period
Experience & Qualifications
* An understanding of and experience in working in the renewable energy/network operator industry.
* An understanding of and experience in working within network operator compliance would be an advantage
