Job Summary
We areseeking a senior Oil and Gas professional specialized in riglesswell intervention operations to join the Northern Area WellCompletion Operations Department (NAWCOD). NAWCOD provides wellservices and rigless completion (intervention) activities for ThisCompany Oil and Gas wells in the Northern Area of the Kingdom ofSaudi Arabia. The Engineer will handle activities related tooffshore and onshore gas oil and water wells (both producers andinjectors naturally or artificially) in addition to providingengineering consultation and investigation.
TheEngineer should have a background in monitoring drilling operationscompletion design flowback/testing operations chemical treatmentslogging and interventions hydraulic fracturing and integrityassurance to perform remedial work for productionenhancement.
Responsibilities:
* Provide centralized engineering support forall NAWCOD operations.
* Ensure wellintervention requirements are technically and operationallyfeasible and can be conducted safely.
* Ensureall well interventions and testing equipment used in NAWCOD meetjob safety and technical requirements.
* Liaisewith Production Engineering to prepare activity levelforecasts.
* Initiate facilitate and evaluatetrial tests of new technologies.
* Conduct wellintervention operation audits including service providers andpersonnel competency performance to ensure compliance withbestinclass practices.
* Evaluate offshorevessel (Jackup Barges) needs for well services operations regardingsafety compliance and technical requirements.
* Monitor and evaluate the condition of existing wellservices equipment and prepare replacement plans.
* Generate and maintain Operational Instruction Manuals(OIM) for all NAWCOD operations.
* MonitorNAWCOD well intervention performance and issue technical reportsaccordingly.
* Evaluate and recommendmodifications to operational procedures for continuous improvementin safety and efficiency.
* Prepare anddisseminate best practices and conduct technical training andawareness sessions.
Requirements:
* This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
* Must hold a Bachelorsdegree in Petroleum Engineering or a relevant engineeringdiscipline.
* An MS degree is desirable but notrequired; however intensive industry training including specializedcourses and seminars is expected.
* Have atleast 15 years of related experience including 5 years of intensivefield experience in well interventions particularly Coiled Tubingand Wireline operations.
* Should haveexperience working in sour oil fields with high H2S concentrationsonshore and offshore environments and smart wellcompletions.
* Experience with HP/HT andhighrate gas wells intervention is required.
* Must be able to provide technical support for welloperations including all aspects of well interventions such as wellstimulation hydraulic fracturing well testing well integrity andapplication of stateoftheart technologies.
* Itis required to have strong technical capabilities in coiled tubingelectricline and slickline conveyance.
* Must beactive in related professional societies and have achievedprofessional recognition through knowledgesharing webinars/seminarspublications and international professional committeeactivities.
