We’re looking for a proactive First Line AML Specialist to join our team!
Job Overview:
As a First Line Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and compliant onboarding of clients, with a focus on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and KYC processes. You will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing customer accounts, investigating suspicious activities, and ensuring that all procedures comply with regulatory standards. Your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining the integrity of our financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
* AML & Onboarding: Conduct thorough AML and KYC checks during the client onboarding process, ensuring all documentation and information meet regulatory requirements.
* Operational Support: Support first-line operations by processing and reviewing client applications for B2B payments, IBAN, card issuing/acquiring, and EMD services.
* Risk Monitoring: Actively monitor transactions and accounts for potential signs of fraudulent or suspicious activity, escalating concerns as needed.
* Client Interaction: Communicate directly with clients to resolve any issues or discrepancies, ensuring a positive experience while upholding compliance standards.
* Process Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
* Reporting: Maintain accurate records and provide detailed reports to senior management regarding operational performance, AML investigations, and client onboarding progress.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operations role, preferably within financial services, with a focus on AML, KYC, and client onboarding.
* Knowledge: In-depth understanding of AML regulations, KYC procedures, and related financial crime prevention measures.
* Technical Skills: Experience with B2B payment systems, IBAN services, and card issuing/acquiring processes is a strong advantage.
* Attention to Detail: Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, particularly when reviewing financial transactions and client documents.
* Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both clients and internal teams.
* Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, think critically, and provide efficient solutions.
* Compliance Focus: Deep understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements within the payments and financial services industry.
