We are currently looking for a Business Improvement Analyst on a fixed term basis until July 2025. This role sits in the Continuous Improvement Team which is part of the Change function within our People and Transformation directorate. This position is based in our Glasgow location, with Hybrid working available. The Job Our goal is to increase value for our customers and business through incremental and revolutionary change including ways of working, process efficiency and/or organisational efficiency reporting to the Business Improvement Lead. As an organisation, we are also currently going through a significant period of change due to our Digital Transformation programme which forms a key area of focus for the Continuous Improvement Team to support. On a day-to-day basis you’ll be involved in: Supporting the Digital Transformation programme through leading and delivering change and improvements to our organisational ways of working Applying best practice, change management and process improvement principles and techniques to deliver these initiatives Ownership from problem definition through to root cause analysis, solution identification through to benefits realisation. Managing stakeholders and removing barriers Completing analysis to provide insight, model improvements and estimate the benefits that will lead to effectiveness Coaching and developing ACCA staff to increase the organisation’s continuous improvement capability and culture We are looking for someone who: Is naturally curious and enjoys problem solving ideally using proven methodology to identify and manage improvements Has developed a culture of continuous improvement within an organisation using PDCA or similar Can work effectively and resiliently in a rapidly changing environment Enjoys problem solving and collaborating with others to deliver sustainable value Has strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and influence people at all levels Has excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage several tasks at once and meet strict deadlines Is highly motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic, with the ability to work on own initiative. Ideally, you will be trained and qualified as a lean six sigma black belt or very experienced Green Belt (or equivalent), applying your skills to get results.
