Our client A leading renewables trading business is looking for a 4PQE lawyer to join their dynamic legal team. The organization provides cutting-edge solutions to support energy clients on their path toward achieving net-zero carbon emissions. Key Responsibilities : You will be working on cross border initiatives supporting the business on a variety of matters. Some of the work you will be involved in will include: Providing general legal advice to the business on a range of legal matters including but not limited to PPAs (power purchase agreements), commodity trading, financing and derivatives etc. Managing and assessing legal and transactional risks for complex deals. Draft, negotiate, and reviewing complex legal contracts Horizon scanning and monitoring of existing and upcoming regulations Liaising with external support when required Qualifications : 4 years of experience as a project finance, commodities or derivatives lawyer in a leading law firm or equivalent in-house. Experience working in energy/commodities/commodities trading would be a plus Strong drafting and negotiation skills. A commercial mindset with a focus on delivering practical, business-friendly solutions. Please note candidates outside the PQE bracket with the prerequisite experience would be considered for the role
