Assistant Health & Safety Manager
Salary Scale: H23 – H25 £32,076 - £33,945 per annum
Contract: All year round Permanent, 37 hours per week
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, friendly, self-motivated and conscientious Assistant Health & Safety Manager to join our central estates team, based at our Trust offices at Sewell Park. We welcome applicants with experience in general estates management, a working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, and an understanding of building control systems.
Previous experience working in a school environment would be beneficial but not essential.
Duties Include:
1. Assisting the Health & Safety Manager with the operational implementation of the Health & Safety policy.
2. Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety legislation.
3. Providing excellent Health & Safety management services.
4. Demonstrating outstanding attention to detail & organisational skills.
5. Exhibiting a flexible approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a busy team.
Personal qualities are of paramount importance, and the person appointed is expected to be approachable, professional & reliable.
About Us: Broad Horizons Education Trust is a multi-academy Trust comprising of 18 schools across Norfolk, which educate 7,500 children and young people and employ nearly 1200 people.
Working Hours: The hours for this post will be 37 hours per week, all year round worked between 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday – Thursday and 8.30am to 4.00pm Fridays. Flexibility is essential to cover absence.
