About the role
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Continuous Improvement Specialist who will play a pivotal role in discovering alternative solutions to current methods and practices, aiming to enhance Quality, Cost and Delivery across both new and ongoing projects our Pharmacy teams out in stores. Our Pharmacy team is going through an exciting growth phase, so this is the perfect time to join us to not only drive our growth but to also develop your skills further.
Although we don’t need you to be an expert in Continuous Improvement, we’ll need you to be a strong communicator and collaborator with some experience in the past of reviewing data insights to understand current data trends to support with solution finding. This would also be alongside process mapping, with tools such as Visio or other visualisation methods. You’ll also work in a range of projects, therefore day to day you’ll spend time working with teams to understand their needs and problems and then being able to translate this and draw up processes and plans to meet their goals. This role will be working within the Pharmacy space, however it's not essential that you need to have a pharmacy background.
You’ll also:
* Be the key link for the team for communication channels and own your project’s communication plan. Ensure a connection and collaboration between projects and other functional groups.
* Support the development of a continual improvement mindset, constantly and collaboratively seeking improvement opportunities in a pharmacy and healthcare operations.
* Ensure that changes to processes are mapped, maintained and reflected in payroll model (as appropriate).
* Work within a project/programme environment on a daily basis, working across multiple projects.
What you’ll need to have:
* Proven experience in process analysis, mapping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Good engagement and communication skills to convey technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
* Experience with using tools/software such as Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint and Excel.
* Some exposure to a project/programme environment.
* Able to challenge processes and proven experience with coming up with finding alternative solutions.
