Under the direction of the Mill Manager, deliver Feed and collect Raw Materials in accordance with the Daily Transport Sheet, to the standards laid down by the Mill Manager. In your job you will liaise with Mill operatives, other Charge hands, Maintenance staff, Drivers, Cleaning staff, Raw Material Department staff, Farm managers, Anwick Garage staff, Office staff, and the Mill Manager. Four On Four Off shift Pattern To gain a full understanding of poultry in MP. Contribute to that department/ add value by developing requisite skills in this area in line with MP competency framework. To work in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes and procedures operating within their area and across the wider business e.g. reduction of waste, recycling etc. Adhere to current legislation as as detailed in the Department of Transport Guide to Goods Vehicle Drivers Hours, Tachographs and records. Take instruction for vehicle scheduling from the Mill Manager and for traffic matters from the holder of the CPC in the GWP Transport Department. Ensure the vehicle and trailer is kept clean and checked daily for defects which then should be reported to the Garage Manager Operate within the Company Safety Policy Receive the correct Ration and deliver the feed to the correct Farm as indicated on the daily Transport Sheet filling in the weighbridge ticket. Discharge the Feed into the correct bin as indicated by the Farm Manager. Notify the Mill Manager or the Chargehand in his absence of any anomalies of feed or farm. Collect Raw Materials from the Farms as indicated on the Transport sheet reporting any obvious shortcomings of quality that would be detrimental, to the RM Department. Fill in the requisite Weighbridge ticket, Collection Note and Cereal Passport for office use. To take instruction from the Duty Chargehand for rerouting of Feed delivery if required and from the RM Department for rerouting for Wheat collection. ADZN1_UKTJ
