Role Purpose: The SRM Manager is a key role within the commercial team, responsible for pricing & promotional strategy, trade spend governance and optimisation and mix strategy & implementation. Business partnering the Sales & Marketing functions to maximise revenue and profitable growth across all brands, channels and total IPN working closely with commercial finance Key Accountabilities: Support delivery of our sales forecast/budget through effective strategy and ensuring we drive areas of over/under performance Co-create our brand pricing strategies, creating sufficient benchmarks/indices vs. competitors, inc. standard price lists Assess price elasticity/price impacts based on market and insight factors to input into the demand plan and underpin pricing recommendations Own the promotional guidelines alongside the MS&P manager, identifying areas of flexibility or change to maximise profitable growth Advise-track-assess on promotional plans based on fact-based ROI and market insight to feed into promotional plans Govern and co-own, alongside commercial finance, trade spend governance & control in line with budget/forecasted outcomes Support trade optimisation alongside sales to maximise revenue and profit outcomes in line/ahead of budget Create best practice trade spend structures Govern A&P spend and support on ROI optimisation alongside Marketing Set brand/channel mix strategies/targets to guide profitable growth and maintain competitor differentiation Own/drive the range rationalisation review alongside brand & commercial finance to maximise portfolio efficiency Input into the budget & forecasting processes to drive profitability Peer support to coach & develop commercial team to upskill profitable growth mindset Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Educated to Degree calibre Broad knowledge of the FMCG trade Revenue Management/Commercial Finance business partnering experience Strong organization skills FMCG operational understanding and cross functional experience Business and commercial acumen Advanced Excel User Anaplan (or equivalent BI tool) experience Data science/insight experience The Offer: Location: Thirsk, North Yorkshire Salary: Competitive 15% annual company bonus scheme Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday (hybrid working) Pension: Employee contributions 3% / Employer contribution 8%(salary sacrifice company pension scheme) Holidays: 25 days Bank Holidays Private Healthcare Medicash Plan Life Assurance Enhanced maternity/paternity/pawternity Other Benefits: Free parking, tasty treats, bring your dog to work, discounted products & free hot drinks Choice of a series of non-contractual flexible benefits, including cycle to work, workplace nurseries and dental insurance.
