Job Duties include:
1. Assisting with the preparation of trust accounts and tax returns.
2. Preparing R185 trust income forms.
3. Assisting clients with meeting their tax compliance requirements.
4. Preparing personal tax returns and computations.
5. Resolving client queries with HMRC.
6. Undertaking research into more complex tax matters.
7. Providing assistance to senior staff on various tax advisory projects.
Please note, the salary is £19,500 - £24,000 depending on age and experience.

Training
Training to be Provided: Accounts/Finance Assistant Apprenticeship Level 2 - AAT. This apprenticeship is perfect for someone without any accountancy or bookkeeping knowledge. On this programme, they will learn the building blocks of the modern accountant. Not only will they grasp the fundamentals of bookkeeping, but we will help them develop those vital skills and behaviours to enable them to put their knowledge into action. If you’re new to accountancy and finance, looking to change your career into accountancy, or have previously worked in an accounts department, this level is ideal for you. You don’t need any prior experience working in accounts to study AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting. There are no entry requirements, but you do need good maths, IT, and English skills, and a willingness to learn. You’ll learn a broad range of core accounting skills, including double-entry bookkeeping and basic costing, as well as accountancy-related business skills and personal skills.
