Role Summary
Responsible for championing positive workplace health & safety culture, we are recruiting an ambitious innovative Health & Safety Manager to join our dedicated and inspirational team.
Your duties are of paramount importance. You will be the driving force at the forefront in the development, performance and maintenance of the health and safety activities, underpinning health, safety, and environmental management action plans and operational programmes.
You will be responsible for the effective and efficient daily management of Health & Safety, Control of Consumable & Chemical Stocks, PPE/PPC allocation, Fire Safety, First Aid, Transport Safety and Compliance. This will include, policy implementation, monitoring and inspection, compliance audits, risk assessment, accidents, investigation and delivering first line support to department leads.

Skills/Experience/Qualifications
* Professional knowledge acquired through a degree or equivalent (i.e. NEBOSH, IOSH, CMIOSH), plus specialist knowledge acquired through field qualifications.
* In-role industry experience and proven track record operating in a H&S Officer/Coordinator/Manager role.
* A professional approachable personality that translates well across all communication methods.
* A people centric person who has the ability to quickly build & develop a professional rapport with all stakeholders.
* Written and verbal communication skills for communicating with a range of both internal and external stakeholders, as well as presentation skills.
* Competency in Microsoft applications & project management systems.
* Project management and organisational skills.
* Drive and enthusiasm with the ability train, assess, and promote a positive health and safety culture.
* Dynamic thinking and problem-solving abilities with the ability to think strategically using initiative and confidence.
* A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
* Continuous improvement mind set which will be evidenced in the improvement of workplace health & safety culture.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team or individually unsupervised and deliver quality work across multiple tasks within required deadlines.
