Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location:
Stoneycroft, Liverpool
Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours
£12.90 - £13.50 Per hour
- Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in the classroom
- Assist the teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for SEN students
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Support SEN students with their social, emotional, and academic development
- Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best support for SEN students
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Experience working with SEN students
Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3)
Experience working with SEN students in an educational setting
- Understanding of special educational needs and disabilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and empathy when working with students with SEN
- First Aid Certification
- Mental Health Awareness training
- Work primarily in a school classroom setting
- Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday
- Potential for occasional additional hours for meetings or training
- May involve some physical activity and lifting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
