The Village of Taunton Mills located in Whitby, Ontario has an exciting opportunity for a Student Services Coordinator to join their team.

As our new Student Services Coordinator, you will:
* Have post-secondary education in a human service-related field (Social Services, Recreation, Volunteer Services, Gerontology, etc.).
* Provide leadership for student programs including recruitment, orientation, engagement, supervision, ongoing education, evaluation, and recognition activities.
* Explore opportunities for ongoing student community building to ensure students feel connected to each other, the Village, and the community at large.
* Act as a liaison between the Village leadership and postsecondary partners for the Living Classroom to ensure successful integration into Village life in partnership with the People Team at Support Office.
* Be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and other computer programs.
* Answer phone, greet residents/family/visitors/team members, and provide assistance on all general inquiries.
* Process incoming/outgoing mail (including Trust statements and/or payslips) and maintain an organized filing system (paper and/or online) for easy access to documents/files.
* Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
* Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and deliver the highest quality of service to our residents, visitors, and team members.
It would be an asset if you have:
* Office administration certificate or equivalent experience.
* Experience with student placements preferably in a health care or social services setting.
* Current Heart Save Level of CPR.
