Location City Derry/Londonderry Overview of Role At FinTrU, our Technology team are looking for an Application Support Engineer who is passionate about providing technical support, troubleshooting, and assistance to end-users experiencing issues with the organization's software applications. This role involves diagnosing and resolving complex problems, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the optimal performance and usability of applications. This is an Associate level position, requiring 3 years of experience. Job Details You should apply if you have: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR equivalent work experience. At least 3 years' experience in application support, software troubleshooting, or a related technical role. Experience with issue tracking and support ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, ServiceDesk, Zendesk, ServiceNow). Basic understanding of databases and SQL for data retrieval and analysis Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. This is an opportunity to work on: Provide technical support to end-users for software applications, diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently. Troubleshoot and investigate complex application-related problems. Collaborate with support teams to ensure timely resolution of reported issues and service requests.
