Hours: 23.34 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 7.78 hour per day)
Contract Duration: Temporary until 26 April 2026. Please note the post duration will be for one year from the start date.

Role Purpose
You will teach the assigned class and carry out related activities and developments following local, national, and school policies and under the direction of the headteacher. Please note we will consider applicants for other subjects not exclusive to PE.
Essential Qualifications
1. Qualified Teacher of Physical Education
2. Full registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland (or an assurance that full registration will be forthcoming)
3. A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a driver's licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability. Should it be possible to make such an adjustment in order that you can undertake the travel responsibilities of the post, this will be taken into account in consideration for this role.
